Bounce House & Inflatable Safety in Bucks County, PA

At Keystone Bounce, a safe party starts long before the first jump. Every inflatable we deliver across Bucks and Montgomery County is registered and state-inspected under Pennsylvania's Amusement Ride Inspection Act, set up by a SIOTO-certified crew, anchored to manufacturer standards, and fully insured. Below is exactly what that looks like — our inspections, our trained team, our weather and play rules, and the coverage that protects your event — so you can book with total confidence.

Fully compliant with Pennsylvania law

Pennsylvania, inflatables are regulated as amusement rides under the Amusement Ride Inspection Act (Act 81 of 1984), administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's Amusement Ride Safety Division (7 Pa. Code Chapter 139). We meet every requirement of that program:

  • Registered with the Department of Agriculture. Our business and each inflatable are registered with the Commonwealth — required before any unit can legally be operated for hire.
  • State-certified inspections. Pennsylvania requires each inflatable to pass a state-certified inspection every time it's set up and every 30 days of operation, backed by unannounced state quality-assurance checks. We follow those standards and the manufacturer's setup instructions on every delivery.
  • ASTM safety standards. We follow the ASTM amusement-ride standards Pennsylvania adopts — covering anchoring, occupancy, weather limits, and safe operation.

SIOTO-certified safety inspectors on staff

Keystone Bounce has two SIOTO-certified safety operators on staff who personally inspect every inflatable before your event. They've completed formal training through SIOTO — the Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization — covering safe setup and anchoring, weather red flags, age- and size-appropriate use, crowd supervision, and emergency procedures including evacuation and first-aid awareness. The people setting up your bounce house are trained to spot and prevent the issues that cause inflatable accidents.

Nationally recognized SIOTO training

SIOTO certification is a recognized industry credential in the inflatable rental world, trusted by insurers and event planners alike. Choosing a SIOTO-certified operator means choosing a crew that has been formally trained in safe operation — not one that's learning on the job at your child's party. It's a standard we hold ourselves to on every booking.

Fully insured for your peace of mind

Every Keystone Bounce rental is covered by general liability insurance. Hosting at a park, school, church, or other venue that requires proof of coverage? We'll provide a certificate of insurance naming your venue — just ask when you book.

Safe setup & anchoring, every time

Most inflatable accidents trace back to poor setup — so this is where we're most careful. Our crew installs every unit to manufacturer and ASTM standards:

  • Anchored for the surface. On grass we drive long ground stakes; on asphalt, concrete, or indoor floors we secure units with sandbags. Units are never left unanchored.
  • Clear, level placement. We need a flat area with clearance from overhead power lines, tree limbs, fences, and decks, away from pools and drop-offs.
  • Power & access. Blowers need a nearby standard outlet, or we bring a generator. We also need a clear path to move equipment into the setup spot.
  • Pre-use check. Before handover we confirm seams, blowers, anchors, and safety netting, and we walk you through the safe-use rules.

Clear weather safety rules

Wind is the single biggest hazard for inflatables, so we don't take chances with it. Inflatables must not be used in high winds, lightning, or storms. We follow each unit's manufacturer wind rating and Pennsylvania safety guidance, and we'll deflate and clear a unit when winds become unsafe or a storm moves in. If the forecast turns, we'll talk you through timing, moving indoors, or rescheduling. Safety always comes before the party.

Simple rules for safe play

We post and explain the rules at setup, but here's what keeps kids safe inside any inflatable:

  • Adult supervision at all times whenever kids are inside.
  • Group by size. Keep big kids and little ones in separate turns to avoid collisions.
  • Shoes, glasses, and sharp objects off. No food, drinks, gum, or silly string inside.
  • No flips, no climbing the walls, no roughhousing.
  • Respect the limits. Never exceed the unit's posted rider count and weight limits.
  • Empty it in bad weather at the first sign of strong wind or storms.
